Shipping policy

This page explains how shipping works at A & E Bowery Lighting. We keep shipping fees and delivery timelines clear, consistent, and aligned with our settings in Google Merchant Center.
1) Where We Ship
We currently ship to the following countries:
- United States (US)
- United Kingdom (UK)
- Canada (CA)
- Germany (DE)
- Japan (JP)
A valid shipping address in one of the supported countries is required. Shipping to countries not listed above is not available at this time.
2) Order Cut-Off & Handling (Processing)
Order cut-off time: 2:00 PM Eastern Time (New York)
- Orders placed before 2:00 PM ET begin processing the same day when possible.
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM ET begin processing the next handling day.
Handling time: 7–10 business days
Handling days: Monday–Saturday (Sunday is not a handling day)
Handling time is the time needed to prepare and hand your package to the carrier (packing, label creation, carrier handoff).
You'll receive:
- an order confirmation after purchase, and
- a shipping confirmation with tracking once the package is handed to the carrier.
3) Transit Time (Carrier Delivery Time)
Transit time: 4–6 business days after the order ships
Transit days counted: Monday–Saturday
This is the carrier's delivery window after shipment is in transit.
Estimated total delivery time: 11–16 business days (handling + transit)
Delivery timing can vary due to: carrier capacity, weather, holidays, customs clearance, and delivery location.
4) Shipping Fee
Free standard shipping on all orders shipped to any of our supported countries (US, UK, CA, DE, JP). No minimum order value required.
- Any applicable taxes, duties, or import fees (if any) are the responsibility of the recipient and may be collected by the carrier or customs upon delivery.
5) Carriers & Tracking
We ship using: USPS and UPS.
- A tracking number is provided once your order ships.
- Tracking updates are managed by the carrier and may take time to refresh after label creation.
Carrier selection (USPS or UPS) may depend on package size, destination, and service availability, but your delivery window remains based on the policy above.
6) Exceptions & Common Issues
Incorrect / undeliverable address:
If an order is returned because the address provided at checkout is incorrect or incomplete, you may be responsible for the cost to reship.
Damaged in transit:
Lighting products can be fragile. If your package arrives damaged, contact us as soon as possible with:
- your order number, and
- clear photos of the box and the item(s).
We'll review and work with the carrier on the next steps.
Delays:
Weather events, carrier disruptions, customs processing, and federal/national holidays may extend delivery times beyond the estimate.
